PMP Certification Training That Prepares You for How the 2026 Exam Actually Tests
The PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is the most recognized project management credential globally, issued by PMI. It signals to employers that you can lead projects using both predictive and agile approaches — the way modern organizations actually work.
3FOLD Training's PMP course is designed around one goal: getting working professionals through the PMP exam on their first attempt, without disrupting their job. The curriculum is built on the 2026 Exam Content Outline — covering all three domains (People, Process, Business Environment) in the proportions PMI actually tests.
As a PMI Authorized Training Partner (ATP), our 35-hour completion certificate is directly accepted by PMI in your exam eligibility application — no additional verification required. The course covers not just content, but the application process, audit preparation, and exam-day strategy.
About the PMP exam: 180 questions · 240 minutes · mix of predictive, agile, and hybrid scenarios · People 33% · Process 41% · Business Environment 26%. Offered year-round at Pearson VUE centers and online via ProctorU.

PMP Certification Path
Your Step-by-Step Journey to PMP Certified
From eligibility check to holding your credential — here is the exact sequence, with no guesswork.
Verify Your PMP Eligibility
Step 01You need either: (A) a 4-year degree + 36 months of project leadership experience, OR (B) a high school diploma + 60 months. Both paths require 35 hours of formal project management training.
Most IT and corporate professionals qualify via Path A.
Complete 35 Hours of ATP Training
Step 02Attend all 5 Sunday sessions with 3FOLD Training (PMI ATP). You receive a 35-hour completion certificate from a PMI Authorized partner — the only type PMI accepts without additional verification.
This is the course you are on right now.
Submit Your PMI Application
Step 03Create a PMI.org account and submit your PMP application. Document your project leadership experience by project, including hours, role, and description. Our Session 5 walks you through this step-by-step.
PMI audits approximately 20% of applications. We cover audit prep.
Pay the PMP Exam Fee
Step 04Once PMI approves your application, you pay the exam fee. PMI members: $405. Non-members: $405. PMI annual membership costs $139 — making membership worthwhile if you plan to maintain the credential.
Exam fee is paid directly to PMI, separate from your training cost.
Book Your Exam Date
Step 05Schedule your exam via Pearson VUE — at a test center or online via ProctorU. You have 1 year from application approval to attempt the exam. The exam is 180 questions, 240 minutes.
Most candidates attempt within 2–4 months of completing training.
Pass and Receive Your PMP Credential
Step 06Upon passing, PMI issues your digital PMP certificate and badge. The credential is valid for 3 years. You earn 60 PDUs (Professional Development Units) over 3 years to maintain it.
PMP has no passing score shown — you receive Proficient / Needs Improvement per domain.

How It Works
Training Built Around Your Work Schedule
Sunday sessions. Live online. Small cohorts. Everything designed for working professionals who cannot afford to pause their career while earning their PMP.
Sunday Batches
Scheduled on Sundays so you don't have to take leave or rearrange your work week. Designed specifically for full-time professionals.
Live Online via Zoom
Attend from anywhere — your home, office, or anywhere with an internet connection. No travel, no commute. Just show up and learn.
Timezone Support
Session timings are communicated in both IST (India Standard Time) and GST/UAE time when announced. Suits learners across India, UAE, and globally.
LMS Access After Each Session
Recordings, notes, and practice questions are uploaded to the LMS after every session. Access anytime, for as long as you need them.
Real-Time Q&A Each Session
Ask questions during the session — not just at the end. The instructor addresses questions as they come up, making every concept clear before moving forward.
Small Cohort Sizes
Batches are intentionally kept small so the instructor can give attention to individual questions and learning needs — not a passive webinar with hundreds of attendees.
Your 35-Hour Certificate
Why Your Certificate Comes From a PMI Authorized Partner
PMI accepts 35-hour certificates from any training provider — but not equally. An ATP-issued certificate is recognized by PMI without additional verification during your eligibility application. Certificates from non-ATP providers can face scrutiny, additional documentation requests, and delays.
Accepted directly in your PMI application
No letters of explanation, no secondary verification. PMI recognizes ATP certificates as pre-validated.
PMI has audited our training standards
Our curriculum, instructors, and delivery methods have been reviewed and approved by PMI — not just self-declared.
Independently verifiable on PMI's official registry
Our ATP status is publicly listed on PMI's official partner registry. You can verify it before you enroll — not just take our word for it.

Before You Decide
Why Professionals Choose Live Training Over the Alternatives
Most people spend weeks researching options before committing. Here is what we see candidates try — and why live ATP training consistently produces better outcomes.
Self-Study with PMBOK
PMBOK is a reference guide, not an exam prep tool
2026 ECO is scenario-based — reading alone won't prepare you for the question style
No instructor to explain why wrong answers are wrong
Easy to study the wrong things for 6 months before realizing it
You will spend more time studying and still score lower.
YouTube / Free Content
No 35-hour PMI-accepted certificate — not ATP issued
Content quality is unverified and often outdated (pre-2025 ECO)
No live Q&A, no personal feedback, no cohort accountability
You will still need to pay for formal training for the PMI application
Great for orientation. Not a replacement for formal training.
Cheap Marketplace Courses
Usually not ATP-certified — certificate may not be accepted by PMI
Pre-recorded only — no live instructor for exam-week questions
No application help, no audit guidance, no mock debrief
Pass rates not published — you are on your own after buying
Low cost upfront. High cost if you fail and need to re-sit.

FAQ
PMP Training — Questions Answered
Everything you need to know before enrolling.
The course includes 5 live online sessions delivered on Sundays. Each session runs approximately 7 hours, totalling 35 PMI contact hours — the exact number required for PMP exam eligibility. All sessions are also recorded and available in the LMS within 24 hours.
Sessions are structured across all three PMP exam domains. Session 1 (Jul 26): Lessons 1–2 — Welcome and The Big Picture. Session 2 (Aug 2): Lessons 3–4 — Stakeholders and Teams. Session 3 (Aug 16): Lesson 5 — Core Planning. Session 4 (Aug 23): Lessons 6–7 — Integrated Planning and Execution. Session 5 (Aug 30): Lessons 8–9 — Business Environment Dynamics and Exam Readiness.
Yes. The curriculum is built specifically around the 2026 ECO — including updated domain weightings (People 33%, Process 41%, Business Environment 26%), the increased emphasis on agile and hybrid approaches (approximately 50% of exam questions), and newly added content areas including AI in project management and sustainability.
Enrollment includes live in-class quizzes via Nearpod (answered during every session), official mock exams in the LMS — four full-length papers including three 180-question exams (matching actual exam length) and one 75-question rapid diagnostic. Mock exams are reviewed in class with instructor explanations.
Yes. A PMI ATP completion certificate is issued after you complete all 5 sessions and pass the 80% Knowledge Check (untimed, unlimited retakes, built into the course). The Knowledge Check is a new PMI requirement for all ATP programmes from July 2026. Your certificate is issued by 3FOLD Training, a verified PMI Authorized Training Partner — directly accepted by PMI in your application.
From late Q4 2026, PMI will only accept live PMP training hours completed through a PMI Authorized Training Partner (ATP), China REP, or accredited academic programme. Hours from non-ATP providers will no longer satisfy the 35-hour requirement. 3FOLD Training is a verified PMI ATP — your 35 hours are valid now and after this rule takes effect. You can verify our status on Credly and PMI's partner registry.
Yes, PMI application guidance is included in your enrollment fee — not sold as an add-on. We walk you through documenting your project experience hours correctly, structuring your application, and preparing for a PMI audit if one is triggered. Most training providers do not include this.
Yes. The training is delivered fully online via Zoom, so you can attend from anywhere in the world. Pricing for international learners is $390 USD. Session timings are communicated in IST and additional timezones to support learners in the UAE, UK, US, and other regions.
An Authorized Training Partner (ATP) is a training organization that PMI has audited and approved. PMI has reviewed the ATP's training materials, instructors, and delivery standards. A 35-hour certificate from an ATP is directly accepted by PMI — without additional verification. Non-ATP providers may offer PMP prep, but their certificate may face additional scrutiny during the PMI application process.
As this is an online training program, LMS access and digital course materials are provided immediately after payment. Once access is granted, the enrollment is non-refundable. If you have a scheduling conflict, we can move you to the next available batch at no additional cost — please contact us at least 48 hours before your first session.
The PMP exam fee is paid directly to PMI on pmi.org — it is separate from your course fee. PMI members pay $405 per attempt; non-members pay $555. PMI annual membership costs $139 and is optional. After passing, you pay a CCR renewal fee every 3 years to maintain the credential.
Most candidates apply to PMI within 2 weeks of completing the course, receive PMI approval within 5–10 business days, and schedule their exam within 4–8 weeks. The full timeline from course completion to certification is typically 2–3 months, depending on how quickly you schedule the exam and your individual study pace.
